Hi guys. My name is Ngozi, a wig designer and expert with over 10 years experience here to help you navigate the wig world, and today, you will know the 5 things you should never do when washing your lace front wig.
- Do not use boiling hot water on your Lace front wig. You must remember that your lace front wig is made from hand tied strands of hair, hair wefts and sewn onto an elastic wig cap. Boiling hot water will reduce the elasticity of your wig cap faster.
- When your wig is wet do not sleep in it. It causes the hair to smell and tangle. Every time you have to detangle your wig, you loose hair.
- Do not rub the knots of your lace piece. This will cause them to become loose, the hair will fall off and create bald spots on your lace piece.
- Do not use rubbing alcohol on your lace wig. The alcohol will dry out your hair strands.
- Do not use fabric cleaning products or dish cleaning products to wash your human hair wigs. Your human hair wigs are made from real human donor’s hair so only hair products are good for washing your human hair wigs.
